Flaxseed Oil – Flaxseed oil, or linseed oil, is extracted from flaxseeds and is made up of 50-60% omega 3 fatty acids. With such a high content of omega 3, it helps maintain healthy brain and heart function. An interesting property of flax seed oil is that it works as a natural mild laxative, aiding in digestion and bowel movements, hence effectively detoxifying the body when consumed. As it is also anti-inflammatory, some with eczema also find that it helps alleviate symptoms.
Frankincense – Distilled from the resin of the Boswellia Carterii tree, Frankincense is usually mixed with a carrier oil to make an essential oil that can be used for aromatherapy, bath soaks, in cleaners or even in internal and external remedies. Having antiseptic qualities, this oil is great for an ingredient in household cleaners but at the same time can soothe intestinal discomfort when used in highly diluted quantities (please seek professional advice when ingesting this even in very low concentrations). Another wonderful property of this oil is that it may help in lightening the appearance of marks and scars.
Fluoride – Fluoride is a natural mineral found in the Earth’s crust and soil. Fluoride is also added to our water sources in the form of Sodium Silicofluoride to improve public dental health. You can also find Fluoride in your toothpaste. However, researchers have found that Fluoride is a neurotoxin, which are poisonous and destructive to nerve tissues, causing them to be overstimulated and resulting in damage to nerve tissues.
